Job Description:

1. Review Module Definitions or Design Specifications
and create test scripts and testdata.
2. Attend walk-through of new functionality
3. Regularly consults the architects on behalf of the team to ensure
and maintain technical integrity of the project.
4. Clearly understands and communicates client requirements internally.
5. Participate in design reviews.
6. Modify test scripts and test data.
7. Independently execute test scripts and record results.
8. Integrate enhancements to test scripts while maintaining consistency
of performance expectations.
9. Mentors less experienced staff and consult with peers.
10. Keep Testing Leader informed of delays in testing activities or
problems arising fromvariances.
11. Follows and promotes the agreed Best Practices and their supporting
documentation.
Candidate Profile:
1. Good understanding of testing methodologies
and tools.
2. Full range of knowledge of at least one programming language with
a broad understanding of an operating environment.
3. Uses structured techniques to solve fundamental problems within
one's own work
4. Communication skills to understand and clarify moderately complex
instruction.
Skills:
1. Degree or Diploma in Information Technology;
Computer Science, Engineering or BusinessBusiness (with major in Computing).
2. Minimum 3 years experience in a software development or testing
role plus other qualification Experience in developing and executing
test plans and scripts.
3. Experience with multi-user, complex software applications preferred.
4. Telecommunications industry experience and related product knowledge
preferred.
