Job Description:
1. Define and run tests cases related to the
Verification of the PIM Information System suite of tools (Schneider's
business process and Engineering Information system)
2. Work closely and Independently with Offer definition teams around
the globe especially in France, US, Mexico & China
3. Liaison with vendors when working on different applications and
implement the verification process including the use of a Defect Tracking
Tool
4. Define a set of new and non regression tests as applicable to any
change on the application
5. Provide metrics to team management on the quality of the solution
under verification, Progress status.
6. Be able to investigate issues found, to provide valuable information
to the project teams
7. Provide updates of new functionalities to Customer Care & Migration
teams as and when required
8. Have a good level of knowledge on PLM technologies and Project
management practices.
Skills:
The Ideal person is the one who has exposure to PLM (Windchill) &
CAD (Mechanical and/or Electrical) Authoring tools and Mechanical/Electronic
design concepts. The individual should understandsthe product development
life cycle.
Technical Skills:
1. Engineering Tools : Windchill, CAD Authoring
tools
2. Operating System : Windows and Solaris
3. Defect tracking tools (Clear quest)
4. SQL (Good to have)
Soft Skills:
1. Excellent Communication and Presentation skills.
2. Be inspirational to the team, proactive, initiative and innovative.
3. Self motivator and a good team player.
4. Open to continuous feedback for improvement.
