Job Description:
1. Component Design Engineers are responsible
for the design and development of electronic components.
2. Responsibilities may include: the design of chip layout
circuit design, circuit checking, device evaluation and characterization,
documentation of specifications, prototype construction and
checkout, modification and evaluation of semiconductor devices
and components, performing developmental and/or test work,
reviewing product requirements and logic diagrams, planning
and organizing design projects or phases of design projects.
3. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they
occur.
4. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education
and judgement.
Candidate Profile:
1. Candidate must have a Bachelors
degree in microelectronics or related field with at least
1 - 2 years' experience in VLSI chip design .
2. The candidate should have experience in handling both complex
block level and FC floorplanning , APR and timing closure
and other backend flows like low power methodology , formal
verification , IR drop analysis etc .
3. Strong scripting skills and experience in working on advanced
process nodes is desired along with good problem solving skills
