Job Description:
1. This role involves working as a part of
the Mobile Platforms Software group within the MWG group in Bangalore.
2. Our software group works in the challenging domain of porting and
optimizing Android software to BRCM Mobile processors.
3. Project activities include setting up , running android automation
tests , extending automation tests and debugging failures on BRCM
Android platforms .
As a result of the project activities , interns can be expect to get
familiar with
1) Android SW stack and it various layers
2) How Mobile chipset companies port and optimize android for their
chipsets
3) Understand the various Android test automation tools
4) Understand the challenges in Mobile platform software development
5) Linux kernel and the various adaptation HAL softwares used
Candidate Profile:
1. Good programming skills in C and scripting
languages
2. Understanding of ARM architecture and linux desired
