Job Responsibilities:

1. Understand and study the global automotive supplier industry.
2. Leverage secondary sources such as OneSource and other automotive-specific subscription-based sources and if required, primary sources.
3. Create an effective search strategy. Collate, organize and analyse complex data / information and present them as useful insights.
4. Create research reports and analyse players in the automotive supplier industry focusing on their strategic initiatives and financial performance.
5. Track developments in the industry on a regular basis and contribute to daily creation of news content.
6. Work in teams, with deadlines and contribute to team-building efforts.


Skills Required:

1. Exposure to business research - secondary/primary research
2. Good understanding of the automotive industry, preferably with an international outlook and markets together with good product knowledge
3. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in the Business English
4. Team player, strong interpersonal skills
5. Good analytical skills, effective problem-solving

Candidate Profile:

1. Degree in business studies, engineering, journalism, or other relevant discipline, preferably with an MBA or equivalent
2. Highly analytical with the ability to view projects at both strategic and tactical levels.
3. Integrity of the highest standard.
4. Ability to take initiative and accountability for results.
5. High-level of adaptability and self-motivation.
6. Proven ability to learn new technologies.
7. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, business partners
8. Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
9. Demonstrated ability to work to short timelines, to consistently meet routine deadlines and work as required
10. Demonstrated ability to work in a calm and professional manner in stressful situations.
