Job Description:
A) Production acceptance for Red Hat Linux Servers (Server QA Checks)
1. Follow standard documented processes to complete final inspection of new Linux servers.
2. Communicate with Linux server builders/engineers
3. Continuous process improvements related to the standard production acceptance process
B) Data Integrity
1. Assist in maintaining Server Database data Integrity.
2. Assist in maintaining SharePoint Site data integrity
3. Other data integrity roles as assigned
C) Documentation Remediation
1. Proactively Maintain documentation standards
2. Organize documentation
D) Other items as assigned.
1. When needed, all members of the larger Support and Operations group must be able to perform daily maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, file restores, backup verification and issue resolution, disk space cleanup, hardware and OS monitoring, hardware break/fix and service requests from United Health Care internal customers
Candidate Profile:
1. 1- 3 years of administration experience with Red Hat Linux (or certification)
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3. Excellent organizational skills
4. Ability to multitask
5. Ability to find and resolve data integrity issues using MS Access or SQL queries
