Job Description:
Responsibilities:
1. End-to-end module ownership for Lab Services owned tools.
2. Identify gaps and areas of improvement in the existing automation infrastructure and propose/implement improvements.
3. Enabling virtualization support for the test automation infrastructure.
4. Build tools to improve engineering productivity.
Technical Skills:
1. Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics Engineering.
2. 1-4 years of work experience in telecom/networking companies.
3. Strong development experience preferably in automated test harness, schedulers.
4. Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, Unix operating system, SCM (preferably ClearCase), OOPs.
5. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
6. Hands-on experience with scripting languages (preferably TCL), databases (preferably postgresql).
7. Web development experience is desirable (Ruby on Rails, jQuery, Javascript, HTML, Apache Rivet)
8. Basic networking knowledge, understanding of networking topologies
