Job Description:
1. The incumbent will become a member of the
NCR IT Services ERP Software Engineering team.
2. He/She will be responsible for application development, implementation,
and support.
3. The selected individual will work on a small team to support business
requirements in several countries in the EMEA/Americas region.
4. Individuals on the team must work closely with the process owners
as well as the other IT Services support teams to define, design and
implement solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide responsive and effective root-cause
resolutions and workarounds
2. Work closely with business partners and other support organizations
to resolve issues.
3. Perform Systems Integration required to support other IT Services
global initiatives.
4. Emphasis placed on building interfaces/conversions that are open
and flexible to future requirements.
5. Participate in analyzing, documenting, and performing system configuration
and setup.
Skill Requirements:
1. Knowledge of and experience with .NET C#,
MSSQL 2008/2012, SSIS, SSRS .
2. Ability to support Crystal Reports from both a technical and business
perspective.
3. Ability to create and support T-SQL code.
4. Extensive knowledge of Windows Server platform, especially Widnows2003/Windows2008.
5. Experience in MS SQL administration
6. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
7. Self motivated and customer focused.
8. BS/BTech/MCA in Computer Information Systems or equivalent degree.
Desired Skill:
1. Knowledge of HTML development and support.
2. Knowledge of Visual Basic will be an added advantage.
3. Experience in IIS administration including IIS 7.
4. Knowledge and experience with Visual Studio.
5. Application analysis, design, and development experience.
