November 2007, Danaher Corporation acquired Tektronix as a subsidiary.
Job Description:
1. Design and develop software solutions as
per requirements that meet overall system specifications
2. Generate all documentation required in the software development
process, including software requirements specifications, software
design descriptions, User Interface requirements and design, verification
and validation plans, and other items as required
3. Write and execute test cases, fix defects
4. Participate in team reviews to communicate and validate decisions
5. Focus on quality deliverables with high accountability and commitment
to program objectives
Candidate Profile:
1. The candidate should possess B.E/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech
in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical &
Electronics engineering or Instrumentation Technology from a premier
Institute in India
2. Candidates who have graduated in the last two years will be considered.
3. Strong academic credentials necessary.
4. Good grounding in Java/J2EE programming required.
5. Exposure to OOP and MVC paradigms necessary.
6. Exposure to Struts, JSP, XML, Javascript
7. Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
8. Understanding of threads , processes and inter process communication,
computer networks
9. Experience with scripting languages desired.
