Our initiative is to get the BI user group together regardless of the solutions they have implemented to meet their business needs.
JobDescription:
Senior Technical Consultant (Informatica Developer)
Candidate Profile:
1. Bachelors Degree from a reputed Educational Institute.
2. Post-graduate degree is a plus.
3. Should have 8+ years of IT experience and 5 years of Informatica experience.
4. Should have worked on Informatica 8.x (preferably Informatica 8.6).
5. Should have sufficient experience to work on UNIX & Shell Scripting.
6. Should have strong PL/SQL & SQL Tuning skills
Responsibility:
1. This individual will be responsible for solution design, integration, data sourcing and transformation, database design and development (logical / physical) and tool implementation related to data warehousing in the retail industry (responsibility level will be commensurate with the position level and will begin in a learning mode).
2. Interface with Teradata engineering staff as needed to resolve complex technical issues.
3. Specify, demonstrate and scope Teradata solutions that deliver business value to the client / prospect.
4. Transfer knowledge and expertise to other TERADATA professional services associates.
5. Provide technical expertise to data warehouse clients that will contribute to innovative business solutions.
