Job Description:
In this role you will work on designing and
developing embedded Java applications and middleware components on
Irdeto proprietary middleware which is currently deployed in millions
of boxes across world.
1. Estimate and plan for the tasks and User
Stories that need to be achieved
2. Write technical specification from the functional specification
3. Implement and maintain software components
4. Write technical documentation for these software components
5. Unit-test components development
Required Skills:
1. Experience in programming in Java User
Interface in embedded systems
2. Knowledge of embedded Java/J2ME
3. Experience in development with AWT and/or HAVi Java Graphical APIs
(desirable)
4. Experience with developing software within the area of Digital
TV and embedded systems (desirable)
5. Knowledge of Java-TV ad JMF APIs (a plus)
6. Good understanding of the development processes, source control,
build and integration mechanisms
7. Team worker, strong communication skills and a pro-active learner
