Job Description:
1. Edit the transcribed document.
2. Edit documents consistently and fairly
according to transcription guidelines, standards of style, and formats
of practice.
3. Utilize all available reference tools
to ensure the accuracy of the transcribed document.
4. Provide timely and consistent quality
feedback to inform and update the transcriptionists regarding quality
issues and areas of concern to help eliminate repetition of errors.
5. Recognize, interpret and evaluate
inconsistencies, discrepancies and inaccuracies in medical dictation
and appropriately clarify and flag or report them as needed.
6. Adhere to policies and procedures to contribute to the efficiency
of the transcription department.
7. Proofreading documents transcribed
by medical transcriptionists according to transcription guidelines,
standards of style, and formats of practice
8. Giving feedback to the transcribers.
9. Maintain quality and TAT (turn around
time).
Candidate Profile:
1. 2 - 4 years experience
in Specialty Clinics/Hospitals and Radiology accounts
