Hamirpur is one of the twenty NITs of the country, established in
1986 as Regional Engineering College, as a joint and cooperative enterprise
of the Govt. of India and Govt. of Himachal Pradesh. The goals of
the institute as embodied in the logo are truly remarkable in their
scope of vision. The college provide Undergraduate, Postgraduate and
Doctorate Education in Engineering, Sciences & Humanities; fostering
the spirit of national integration among the students, a close interaction
with industry and a strong emphasis on research, both basic and applied.
It has been given the status of Deemed University.
Job Description:
1. The reservations will be
strictly as per Govt. of India norms.
2. The person(s) who fulfills the conditions above may submit their
application on the prescribed form as available in the Institute website
http: / / www.nith.ac. in.
3. The application form duly completed in all respect along-with the
necessary supporting attested copies of certificates/documents should
reach "The Registrar, National Institute of Technology Hamirpur
HP-177005 HP" on or before 25th July, 2014 by
5.00 PM.
4. Candidates who wish to apply for more
than one posts should apply separately for each post.
5. Mere fulfilment of minimum qualification and experience requirements
does not entitle any candidate for test/interview call. Short-listing
criteria may be set higher than the minimum advertised.
Cndidate Profile:
1.
Junior Assistants:
10+2 in any discipline with a minimum Typing Speed of 35 w.p.m and
proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet.
Desirable :Proficiency in other computer skills; stenography skills.
AGE: Not exceeding 27 years.
2. Assistants:
Technical Essential: First class Diploma in Engineering in relevant
field with excellent academic record. OR B.E./B. Tech.in relevant
field from a recognized University or Institute.
Desirable:PGDCA or equivalent from a recognized Institution.
AGE: Not exceeding 30 years.
3. Technicians:
B.Sc. Degree in relevant field from a recognized University/Institute
(Laboratory Assistant) OR
Senior Secondary (10+2) from a recognized board and ITI Course of
one year or higher duration in appropriate trade (Technician or Work
Assistant) OR
Matric with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 year's duration
in appropriate trade (Technician or Work Assistant. OR
Diploma in Engineering of three years'duration from a recognized Polytechnic/Institute
(Technician, Work Assistant).
AGE: Not exceeding 27 years.
