Job Description:
Provide programming and support in the development
and enhancement of information systems. Make use of programming languages
in the accomplishment of systems development tasks. Receives close
supervision with specific and narrow objectives defined and weekly
review of progress.
Responsibilities:
1. Constructs an application by developing
program source code, execution control procedures and test data to
provide a functioning information system.
2. Performs assigned application modification to consistently satisfy
business objectives.
3. Estimates assigned activities and provides input to Project Manager
in producing detailed project plans.
4. Reports on task progress by communicating task status to inform
Project Managers and IT Management of actual achievement.
5. Conducts employee training assignments by presenting training material
to target groups in an information environment to enhance the knowledge
base of our employees.
6. Utilizes the available programming tools by educating one’s
self on tools and applying tools on programming activities to more
productively produce application deliverables.
7. Promotes departmental standards and procedures by contributing
to and complying with published standards and procedures to ensure
the quality of our information systems.
8. Comply with required corporate policies, including Access Control
and Change Management.
Candidate Profile:
1. The candidate should be enrolled in Bachelor’s
Degree in Information Technology or related field.
2. He/she should have secured a minimum of 60% in 10th, 12th and all
preceding semesters in Bachelor's degree
3. Good communication skills, both oral and written.
4. Possesses good organizational and time management skills.
5. General knowledge of programming languages, tools, applications,
and products supported.
