Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop top of the line mobile applications for the Android mobile platforms.

2. Design efficient, adaptable, and reusable code.

3. Tuning components for high performance and scalability using techniques such as caching, code optimization, and efficient memory management.

4. Organize input and feedback from multiple stakeholders to improve usability and functionality.

Candidate Profile:

Skills & Qualifications:

1. BTech/CS/ degree with 2 to 3 years of software product development experience.

2. 2+ years developing cutting edge mobile Android applications.

3. Experience in Java, J2EE, web programming using HTML, CSS and JavaScript and knowledge of Web services is a big plus.

4. Hands on experience in J2ME and the Android SDK.

5. Working knowledge of one or more RDBMS. SQLite knowledge is a big plus.

6. Experience with XML/JSON and data manipulation/extraction using parsers.

7. Strong debugging and trouble shooting skills and prior experience with performance measurement tools.

8. Ability to work independently in a fast paced startup environment with dynamically changing requirements.

9. UI and visual conceptualization experience – being able to define UI needs is a major plus

Key Skills:

1. This person will be responsible for engineering, developing and compelling mobile applications for Android devices.

2. He/she will work closely with the Project Managers/Solutions Architects and designers to conceptualize and create interactive mobile applications in a fast paced startup environment. 

3. He or she should be proficient in techniques and technologies for creating high powered interactive mobile applications for the Android platform.
