Job Description:
FPGA is a heterogeneous array of “sites” where “design instances” are placed. Certain types of resources (sites) in the FPGA are less frequently available (hence discrete). However, their placement can have big implications for rest of the design. This project will involve research and development of algorithms that take these “discrete instances” and place them in a seamless manner so that overall wirelength and timing performance of the design in optimized. This project will also involve developing some tools to visualize placement connectivity to enable the debug and development of algorithms.
Position Requirements :
1. Pursuing Ph.D or M.Tech or MS with Thesis option (we have people in the team to serve as thesis committee) - Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
2. Data Structures & Algorithms, Graph theory & Graph algorithms, C++& Shell scripting
