Job Description:
Duties performed in a close and open working environment with mandatory weekly shift rotations, holidays, nights, and weekends. While in this 24x7x365 environment you will be required to perform and record routine tasks as related to platform monitoring and operations administration.
Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced environment. Acknowledge, investigate and manage customer, testing and platform trouble ticket reports.
Candidate Profile:
1. B.E/B.Tech degree in technology related field.
2. Minimum 2 years recent experience working in Network or Service Operations Center experience.
3. Quick learner who can adapt quickly to changes and perform under stressful conditions.
4. Fully computer literate, with command of Microsoft Office software, SharePoint, and technical and diagnostic programs and systems.
5. Personal attributes: team-player; excellent organizational skills, customer and quality focused, highly-motivated; innovative thinker; and comfortable working independently.
6. Experience working with carriers, collocation centers, and remote operations.
7. Must have AIX or other UNIX experience at least at a junior system administration level.
8. Experience in monitoring and maintaining a telecommunications network.
9. Familiarity with MVNO business a plus.
10. Expert technical troubleshooting skills because you can think outside of the box.
11. Minimum 2 year experience working and talking directly to end user customers on a regular basis to resolve their issues as related to network, provisioning, call processing, and billing/rating.
12. General knowledge of Ericsson CvAS software and related technologies preferred.
