JOB SUMMARY:
Company Profile:
IIMB is a public institution of national
importance that is autonomous, standalone management school
and not part of any university. It was established in 1973
by the Government of India through the creation of an IIMB
Society which is the legal entity behind the institution.
The school works within the national policy guidelines established
by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government
of India. A Board of Governors oversees the management of
the school and provides strategic directions. The school is
led by a Director, who is the head of the institution, and
two Deans.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Prepares art work to be accomplished
by gathering information and materials.
2. Plans concept by studying information and materials.
3. Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and
copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and
related aesthetic concepts.
4. Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout
for approval.
5. Work as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers,
other designers, accountexecutives, web developers and marketing
specialist.
6. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results
as needed.
7. Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies,
art services, printers, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepares finished copy and art
by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment;
purchasing from vendors.
2. Maintains technical knowledge by
attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications;
participating in professional societies
Candidate
Profile:
Educational
Qualification and Experience:
1. Candidate should be a First Class Graduate (full-time three
year course of a reputeduniversity) in Fine Arts.
2. 3+ years of working experience
on Adobe CC InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Premiere
Pro, Dreamweaver and Adobe After Effects.
3. Good knowledge of print media publication
– Good experience in making print ready files with bleed,
fold and crop marks.
4. The Applicant should have good
practical experiencein designing annual report, academic calendar,
and story books, online Flip book, brochures, invites, posters
and banners etc.
Key Skills and abilities:
1. The Applicant should be good in
Graphic Design Skills, Layout Skills, Creative Services, Customer
Focus, Creativity, Flexibility, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented,
Desktop Publishing Tools, Acute Vision and Handles Rejection.
2. Good at website graphics/logo creation. Sound experience
in drawing illustrations using Adobe Illustrator. Able to
work on Drupal 7.28 CMS (Website). Knowledge of CorelDraw
& Video editing is an added advantage.
3. Good at English communication and able work on Drupal 7.28
CMS.
Age limit:
Candidates should be below 30 years of age This position is
offered on contract basis and rene wable subsequently. Remuneration
will be based on Institute norms and the applicant’s
qualification and experience. Candidates with the necessary
