Job Description:
1. Associates/Sr. Associate will be
responsible for taking care of for cash & securities reconciliation
process carried out in the department on a regular basis.
2. The Person is responsible for interacting with Line Managers
and the clients of BNP Paribas Group and needs to provide
high quality of service to the internal/external clients.
3. He/She is responsible for interacting with Line Managers
and the clients of BNP Paribas Group and needs to provide
high quality of service to the internal/external clients to
meet the expected service standards.
4. Associates/Sr. Associate will be managing the daily operations/workflow
within the business group and helps the Line Manager in achieving
the process deliverables.
5. Solid functional understanding of the business is recommended
along with strong knowledge of Settlement/Corporate Action/Trade
Processing and Sungard intelliMATCH will be an additional
attributes.
Responsibilities:
1. Understand and get trained in all
the tasks/activities in the process.
2. Perform the daily Nostros, Internal & Securities accounts
reconciliation via Sungard, intelliMATCH
3. Ensure all the transactions are performed within the agreed
timelines without errors and mistakes.
4. Prioritize the work and conduct investigation with due
diligence on all the discrepancies.
5. Identifying exceptions and out of balance situations, and
liaised with internal departments as required, to reach resolution
in a timely manner.
6. Taking corrective measures/action in consultation with
the Team Lead /Assistant Manager.
7. Escalate unresolved open items to the Team Lead /Assistant
Manager.
8. Maintain Communication Channels with internal peer groups.
9. Participate in Cross Training and ensure the Knowledge
transfer between the team and processes is happening on periodic
basis.
10. Participate in Brain Storming Sessions and share the best
practices and ideas with the peer groups and team members.
11. Consistently evaluate and update documented procedures
to ensure they are complete, accurate and current.
Candidate Profile:
1. Strong verbal and written English
Communication Skills is required.
2. Speaking & Reading French Language is a Plus.
3. Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce is must, preferably
a Master’s degree in Commerce.
4. Minimum of 0 – 3 years of experience in operations
in related industry preferably in 5. Securities/Custodian
Operations of a Multi National Banking Company.
6. Should possess strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal
skills.
7. Should be committed and have the ability to prioritize
the work and work independently as well as in a team environment.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and strong
MS-Word & Excel skills required.
9. Should be prepared to travel if there is any requirement.
10. Must be flexible and be prepared to work in any shift
supporting
11. Asia/Americas/European business hours based on business
requirement.
