Job Description:
1. Maintain compliance with HSE policies
and procedures.
2. Operate an assigned group of Pilot Plants.
3. Collect, organize and interpret data from Pilot Plants
runs and report those results to internal customers.
4. Prepare Pilot Plants for operation, start-up. Control plants
at specified conditions, shut down plants and troubleshoot
plants when needed.
5. Coordinate and perform catalyst loading and feed blending
requests.
6. Implement approved plant modifications.
7. Communicate well with co-workers in the group and with
internal customers using tools such as e-log etc.
8. Recommend and implement safety, quality and productivity
improvements.
9. Work in rotating shifts as per ITC schedule.
10. Set-up automated data collection tools, including Honeywell
DCS; Excel based Plantbook, Excel Spreadsheets, LIMS and other
software programs as required for ITC operations.
Candidate Profile:
1. Good oral and written communication
skills.
2. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
3. Computer literate - including MS word and excel.
4. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment while
making improvements in operations in consultation with Plant
owner.
5. Effective organizational skills and proven ability to meet
project deadlines.
6. Effective teamwork abilities.
7. Ability to work under minimum instructions.
8. Diploma is Chemical Engineering. Diploma in Mechanical
can also be considered.
9 . 0-1 years of experience in handling Pilot Plants / Chemical
Plant operations.
10. Should be ready to work in rotating shifts.
